Explication de la chanson
De cette chanson il faut tout d'abord expliquer le titre "For All Time", qui s'adresse vraisemblablement à une de ses conquêtes (qui sait... : p ), à qui il veut apaiser le coeur en lui disant que c'est "Pour Toujours". Cette chanson commence donc par deux vers doux à l'oreille :
"Le soleil se lève sur cette nouvelle matinée,
Dans les ombres changeantes, un oiseau chanteur siffle. "
Suivant cela, il affirme que si ces mots peuvent la rendre heureuse il en fera tout son possible :
And if these words could have kept you happy
I'd do anything
Des vers tendres arrivent ensuite pour la réconforter ; Il lui dit ainsi qu'il sera son épaule quand elle se sentira seule.
"And if you feel alone, I'll be your shoulder. "
On enchaîne donc avec le refrain variable qui reprend le paradoxe que les murs pourront s'effondrer et le soleil pourra refuser de briller, qu'elle devra savoir que quand il dit "I love you" c'est "For All Time".
Et les vers se font plus beaux encore lorsqu'il décrit ses moments proches avec sa bien-aimée... <(^. ^)>
Comme beaucoup de ceux qui passeront par ici le savent, cette chanson provient de la période Dangerous mais n'a pas été choisie par Michael pour faire partie de l'album. Et pourtant elle l'aurait bien mérité selon moi... magnifique.
